April 15, 2011 – Former Capital FM news presenter Grace Msalame is a proud mother of twin daughters Raha and Zawadi.

Grace gave birth to the girls whom she describes as beautiful and tall, at the Karen Hospital on Wednesday evening.

“I can’t keep my eyes off them,” says the excited mother.

The former TV presenter’s pregnancy was troubled at the beginning after she broke up with her baby daddy, weeks after moving in together.

Not long after she lost her father and inspiration, radio icon Tony Msalame in August last year.

But Grace is a happy woman: “They (Raha & Zawadi) are here safe and sound,” she said.

“We were hoping for a natural but Raha was a bit distressed cause they were both pushing down on the pelvis. The heart rate was a bit too high so we quickly opted for a C-section.”
