Cancer: A ticking time bomb

February 9, 2011 – Cancer is increasingly becoming a major health problem in Kenya. Children have not been left out and at the Kenyatta National Hospital about 80 children are admitted with cancer at any one time.

Unfortunately, according to the Kenya Cancer Association the allocation made in the annual budget is a paltry Sh70, 000 which they argue is not even enough to cater for one patient.

Watch this video and see the cries of the children.

How can the situation be improved?
