November 5, 2010 – The festive season is just around the corner and what better way to start it than with a Christmas Bazaar on the 5th to 7th November 2010 at Westgate, Nairobi’s premier shopping mall.  The Christmas Bazaar will be held on the spacious 2nd floor roof-top parking, between 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. everyday.
 
Now in its second year, Westgate’s Christmas Bazaar is known for quality goods for sale and festive gifts and is a favourite among shoppers looking for a unique Christmas gift and festive experience with a difference.
 
Over 130 vendors will be displaying an assortment of items such as fashion accessories, textiles, gift items, interior accessories, home appliances, collectors items, food and much more, at the event.  The Bazaar will be held underneath a dome with Christmas-inspired décor to enhance the festive atmosphere and shoppers will enjoy music, entertainment, food and drinks.
 
“Westgate’s Christmas Bazaar is an excellent start to the Christmas season and a unique experience for the entire family.  It is a very special event that gives shoppers an opportunity to buy unique and contemporary items.  We had more than 30,000 shoppers at the event last year, and hope that this year’s event will attract an even larger number,” says Mercy Wambui, Marketing Assistant – Westgate Shopping Mall.
 
Westgate Shopping Mall boasts an ideal location in a serene and secure environment on Mwanzi Road, off Ring Road in Westlands.  The Christmas Bazaar opens on Friday 5th November and continues over the weekend of Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. everyday.  Entrance is free for all.
