October 12, 2010 – Less than one month since it was announced, the Nokia C7 is now is being shipped to customers all around the world. As only the 2nd phone in the Nokia line to rock the Symbian^3 operating system, it is expected to be a great hit with combined stainless steel and glass in a sleek. Comprising of a full touch design, the Nokia C7 features a 3.5 inch AMOLD display and looks stunning. Simply put, svelte!

Boasting a hoard of apps from Nokia’s very own OVI Store, a whooping 8 Megapixel camera with insane, mind-bending contrast ratios, ARM 11 680 MHz processor with a 3D Graphics HW accelerator, this is one of the better entries into the market. The phone also supports GPS, Active noise cancellation with dedicated microphone, MP3/WMA/WAV/eAAC+ player, MP4/H.264/H.263/WMV+player,  Quick-Office document viewer for Word, Excel, PowerPoint and  PDF documents, a dedicated Adobe Reader and Flash Lite 4.0 which supports ActionScript 3, and will be a browser plugin (not a standalone player).

Another interesting feature is the “communities” that allow a user seamless connectivity in the social networks. All the updates appear on any of the phone’s three customizable home-screens which definitely makes connection relatively easy.

The estimated retail price of the Nokia C7 is EUR 335 (about Ksh40,000) before applicable taxes or subsidies, with pricing and availability varying from region to region, operator to operator.
