October 11, 2010 – Following their win in Kenya last July and their outstanding performance at the Malta Guinness Street Dance Internationals last October, EABL has announced that street dance crew SISKO will be representing the nation in the Pan African stage of the competition later this year.

SISKO was formed by neighbourhood friends in the Kangemi residential area in Nairobi, in 2003. While they performed regularly at dance shows, dance was still not yet a Career for them.

However, in 2008, Malta Guinness Street Dance Africa changed their lives when SISKO came in second, as Dashy Krew became the inaugural Champs.

Encouraged by the result, SISKO tried again in Malta Guinness Street Dance 2009 – only to take the Crown and the Ksh400, 000 cash prize.

Competing in Malta Guinness Street Dance Africa has now seen SISKO make a Career out of their passion, with subsequent professional performances at other Competitions, Corporate Events, Roadshows and Churches.

SISKO are currently in Ghana, where they will battle it out against crews from Nigeria (X-Fellaz), Cameroun (Extreme Fusion), Tanzania (Best Friends) and Ghana (High Spirit); for a chance to become Pan-African Champs and win $35,000!

Over the next two months these five crews will be competing against each other in an unmissable reality TV series for the honorable title of Pan African champion during this thrilling, once in a lifetime opportunity.

The five crews will take part in a boot camp where they will be tried and tested against the best of the best.  They will face special challenges, work with top international choreographers and show off their skills in front of an industry panel of international expert judges, which will be revealed in the coming months.  The series, which will be broadcast internationally across the continent, will showcase the talent and stories of the crews as they embark on the journey of a lifetime to dance to the top of the world.

“We are very excited about the Pan African stage of the Malta Guinness Street Dance competition and can’t wait to see how SISKO get on.  I’m sure the whole nation will join us in getting behind the crew and cheering them on in the hope that they will go all the way to the top.” Commented Angelique Bennaars, Marketing Manager Partner brands.

Malta Guinness Street Dance Pan African Championship will take place in Ghana from 6th October 2010 and will be broadcast lat
