July 28, 2010 – OK; so last week SUQA clued the guys in on how to help prevent razors bumps, but what can you do about it if you are experiencing irritation and bumps regardless? Ladies your man will thank you eternally if you dispatch this info so read on!

Guys – After you are finished shaving try applying a warm towel to your face (or other irritated area) for several minutes. Then follow that up with applying a cold towel. You can repeat this process a few times if you like. This will help soothe your skin and close your pores. Applying some cold aloe gel, or even some hydrocortisone cream can help the burning sensation that often accompanies razor bumps.

If nothing else seems to get rid of the razor bump irritations, and you feel like you are running out of options, there is a permanent hair removal treatment known as Epi-light. This treatment can be performed to thin out and soften your facial hair. However, the procedure can be quite costly so be sure to do some research on your options beforehand.

If you take just a little bit of extra care with your skin before, during, and after shaving your skin will surely thank you in the years to come. It also important to remember that everyone’s skin is different and what works for some may not work for others. Keeping this in mind, practice these different shaving tips and continue to use the ones that work best for you. Better yet ask For Mugisha or Steve @ Suqa cos they’re real pros and they will sort you out!!

Till next week- hugs.. Seanice.

P.S Ladies if you’re planning a hen night for your girl whose getting married – you will want to read next weeks piece for sure!!!
