April 8, 2010 – If you look at the top 66 hotels to visit around the world, you might just see Nairobi’s Tribe Hotel featuring prominently.

According to Conde Nast Traveller’s HOT LIST, (which is a BIG deal), Tribe was plucked out from among Africa’s gems, which in the 2010 Hot List number upto six.

Apart from Tribe, there was Villa Belle Epoque (Cairo),

La Mamounia (Morocco),

The Homestead at &Beyond Phinda private game reserve (SA),

Taj (Cape Town)

And One & Only (Cape Town).

CN Traveller called Tribe ‘Nairobi’s independent designer boutique hotel’, say the family-run hotel ‘mixes contemporary city glamour with carefully placed African art’.

CNT was impressed with ‘the standards of service (superb), with plenty of personal touches.
