Too few girls in top KCSE crop

March 2, 2010 – The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education results for 2009 are out and of the top 100 students, there are only 27 girls.


The top student is Gathuku David Ndung’u of Mangu High School with performance index of 87.26. The top girl is Grace Wambui Njung’e from Moi Girls High School Eldoret. She is number 11 and her performance index is 87.16.
