Yes ladies and gentlemen that is the top prize for TPF III which Kenya has a 40% chance of winning this weekend. The performance is a perk and cannot possibly be done for free.

Two Kenyans, two Ugandans and one Rwandese worship leader are what’s left in the Tusker Academy, namely Patricia, Ng’ang’a, Maureen, Caroline and Alpha.

It’s been eight weeks and whoever among the five will have the least votes will be evicted on Saturday. The remaining four will then have to gather as many votes on Saturday night as possible to emerge tops on Sunday; and of course be the ultimate winner.

Tusker Regional Marketing Manager Mburu Karanja has implored fans from across the region to continue voting for their favourite contestants.

“After a marathon 8 week session, the Tusker Project Fame 3 academy shall be closing this Sunday evening as per the earlier announced schedule with the public voting in their preferred contestant,” Karanja said.

“It’s important for all the fans out there to continue voting their favourite contestants from across the region in the process that will be verified by consulting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers.”

The TPF III winner will also get a one-year recording contract with South Africa’s Gallo Records, plus a Resolution Health Premier Plus Medical Cover from with an annual limit of Sh10 million in patient limit among other benefits.

For the first time in the Tusker Project Fame’s history, all the top three finalists will enjoy recording deals following a deal sealed with Sound Africa a local recording house to produce the runner-up and the second runner-up finalists.

On Wednesday afternoon the group made a last pitch for votes.

While stating how being in the house has given them more focus on their singing careers, each contestant thanked their fans and sought more votes.

Alpha went on to add that he would focus on reggae music with a strong message on the plight of step-children, while Ng’ang’a and Caroline said they would dedicate their energies to inspirational music.

Patricia was more about afro-fusion and feel good music, a sentiment that Maureen mirrored. So, whose gonna get your vote?
