A 1927 Ford Tudor beats them all at the 2009 Concour s d’Elegance

This year’s winner of the Access Kenya Africa Concours d’Elegance was taken by a 1927 Ford Tudor car. The event that took place on Sunday September 27, at the Ngong Race Course grounds. The Ford Tudor accumulated 266 points beating the first runner up, a Nissan 160j car.

The Ford Tudor is owned by Mohamed Parvez, a Kenyan, and it has done its fair share of road trips. Recently, the Tudor was successfully driven from South Africa to Kenya prior to this event. The lime green Tudor is estimated to be worth Kshs 20 million stole the show due to its sheer elegance and grace.

Concurs d’Elegance, an annual event that has been tagged as the most colourful and elegant motor show in East Africa, come to a close the same day. The event was graced by Kenyan dignitaries and beauties, who also showcased their colourful wear and hats.
