DIVAs take off for South Africa

Over sixty women from East Africa, who are customers of Standard Chartered, and their DIVA Club account, took off this morning for Johannesburg, South Africa where they will spend six days shopping, site seeing and relaxing.

The trip was organized by Standard Chartered Bank (Kenya) in conjunction with the South African Tourism, in an effort to show case South Africa.

The DIVAs will tour Soweto, the Apartheid Museum, and attend the Johannesburg Shopping Festival. They will also have a chance to attend the ‘Joy of Jazz’ Festival, the Soweto Wine Festival, and Arts Alive.

Last night, the DIVA Club awarded three lucky winners a free trip, courtesy of South Africa Tourism. They are Adriana Shali Msafari (from left to right) who runs a family business, Mwende Mulili , Corporate Analyst and Emily Cherotich Ego, a student at the Moi University, Eldoret.
