Citizen TV talk show host, Louis Otieno, has been indefinitely suspended from Citizen TV. According to a local website, sources in the Royal Media Services say Otieno was suspended two weeks ago, after his ‘Louis Otieno Live’ show in Kisumu.

It is rumored that Otieno has been having run-ins with the station’s management in the past few months, leading to his current suspension.

The source also said that Otieno’s attitude might cost him his job permanently, if he is not careful.

Otieno was first informed of his suspension via a text message, after he came back to Nairobi from Kisumu, and then received the suspension letter the following day.

Otieno has previously worked at the state-run KBC television station, as well as the privately owned KTN and NTV television stations, where he cemented his reputation as an A-list newsreader and talk show host in Kenya.
