The Michael Jackson tribute songs are doubtlessly the in-thing amongst US artists; and it seems our own stars are not prepared to be left out. Self-proclaimed musical heavy-weight Jose Chameleone has joined the likes of 50 Cent, P. Diddy, Chris Brown, Usher, Mario Winans and Boyz II Men on the list of artists having come up with MJ tribute songs.
Chameleone has been busy in his home-based Leone Island studios recording an MJ tribute song titled “Baagala Agenze” –which literarily means “They cherish the departed.” The song is about the fallen legend’s musical life, which, the world agrees, heavily impacted the music industry.
“Baagala Agenze” is already on the airwaves, and is quickly becoming popular. It may even take the artist to the top of the East African charts. Reports say that he will shoot the video for the song before the end of the month. It is said to include footage of MJ in the many different walks of his life. The video will also show people moon-walking on the streets.
