A Kenyan who lives in the US received a thunderous applause when she presented a poem during a meeting between Leaders Of The African Immigrant Community and the White House Officials.

Coupled with humor and relatable stories, she narrated the challenges that immigrants in the US face. In the same breadth, she urged the immigrants to be proud of their heritage and culture. She urged them to be proud of their contribution to America.

On her Facebook profile, she describes herself as poet, author, spoken word artist, actress, Singer-Songwriter, storyteller, comedian, dancer and a Performing Artist.
