Why Trevor Noah & Davido’s recent stint abroad is history in the making

Over the weekend, South African comedian Trevor Noah conquered the British market.

The host of The Daily Show with Trevor Noah made history as the first African comedian to host an audience of 16,000 at the 02 Arena. Among his most popular bits is his skit on the Royal Wedding. Thrilling the thousands who choose to watch the nuptials between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, instead of Noah’s show, he offered big laughs to those who could no make the show.

Davido also enjoyed huge success in his recent visit to Latin America. Currently, on tour, the Nigerian mega-star has visited Amsterdam last weekend before visiting the Latin American state of Suriname. The 2018 BET Best International Act Nominee performed for a crowd of 10,000. Taking to Instagram the “Assurance” crooner shared his shock over the booking and his growing popularity in Latin America. He wrote, ” I remember when we got the Suriname 🇸🇷 booking .. I was like ‘how? Dem know us there? ‘ Last night was so emotional 😭! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

Davido is also set to fly out to Washington DC later this month on the 27th of May.
