St. Paul’s University has commissioned a new modern TV studio at the Nairobi Campus located in Church house.
The modern facility has been fitted with state of the art equipment and will serve for professional teaching in the field of television production, sound and video processing. The students will work with the most modern studio cameras, auto cues and reportage cameras. The studio also has ipods and new high-capacity computers which will be used for image and audio processing. Other equipments include a directing, editing room, lighting and servers.
The television studio is one of the key projects of the current strategic plan of St. Paul’s university. Communication students in degree, Diploma and upcoming Masters levels will have the benefit of using the facility and enhancing their practical knowledge of the communication field. The studio will also be available for use by students in other programs who take courses in communication.
