After releasing his 7-track album “Daytona,” it seems Pusha-T has proved he is way above the competition. In his track “The Story of Adidon” he calls out Drake and went on The Breakfast Club Power 105.1 to make his views loud and clear.
According to The Ringer, the beef between the two lyricists is based on years of tension. Justin Charity writes, “the rappers mostly rehashed old, familiar complaints about each other: Pusha-T accuses Drake of being a music industry hack who doesn’t write his own songs, and Drake retorts that Pusha-T is a broke nobody who routinely exaggerates his criminal past.”
However, despite Drake’s attempt to sway the masses, it seems his bars did not live up to the hype. Instead, it seems his diss track “Duppy Freestyle” directed at Pusha-T was no match after it was revealed that Drake has been in blackface. Let’s just say, most fans were less than impressed.
