St. Paul’s University today celebrated its 21st Graduation ceremony at the main campus in Limuru with over 900 graduands awarded degrees and diplomas.
The chief guest was Dr. SK Macharia, Chairman of Royal Media Services. Also present was University Council Chairman His Grace The Most Rev. Eliud wabukhala, other Council members and invited guests.
In his speech Dr. Macharia emphasized that the education system in Kenya must inculcate in the young generation the values of service and patriotism.
“I therefore concur with the stated mission of this University: to develop servant leaders with high skills and relevant knowledge for quality service to humanity,” Said Dr Macharia.
The Graduands included Hon. Charity Ngilu, the Minister for Water and Irrigation who pursued a bachelor of arts in Leadership Management. Hon. Nancy Abisai, member of the East Africa Community was also among the graduands having pursued a masters’ degree in Development Studies. The graduands were drawn from different fields including; Business, Communication, Theology, BBIT, Leadership & Management and Development
