Museum of Selfies has opened in Los Angeles.
With at least two million selfies uploaded onto social media in La La Land in the last year alone, the interactive museum opened to the public boasting a large collection of ‘selfie’ inspired art and explores the history and cultural phenomenon of the selfie – an image of oneself taken by oneself.
The venue features one-of-kind exhibits which include record-breaking selfies taken.
The website Discover Los Angeles reports that 13 percent of photos uploaded onto social media in the sunny city are selfies which include iconic backgrounds such as the Hollywood sign.
A major feature is a record-breaking selfie stick measuring 90-feet, extending through the entire length of the museum.
Tickets cost $25 per ticket per adult from www.themuseumofselfies.com
