Kenyatta University announces 100 undergraduate scholarships for 2013



KU, in partnership with the Higher Education Loans Board, has announced 100 scholarships to benefit vulnerable students and young talented people who have shown great promise in the performing arts and sports.


The aim is to provide higher education opportunities to such young Kenyans who would otherwise miss out on nurturing their talents, economic empowerment and social development. The scholarships will cover full tuition costs for the beneficiaries from September 2013.


The 100 scholarships are distributed as follows:


  1. Orphans and Vulnerable Students (OVS) Scholarships (80)
  2. Sports Scholarships (10)
  3. Scholarships in Performing Arts (10)


Interested applicants with a Minimum of C+ Mean grade in 2011 or 2012 KCSE, are advised to seek admission from KU.

All interested applicants must submit application to Kenyatta University, Financial Aid Office by Friday July 19th 2013.
