Currently the board offers the following range of financial products:

Non-salaried Applicants: [Loans & Bursaries]

For Direct Entry Undergraduate students. These are fresh students from high school

SalariedApplicants: [Loans &Scholars]

Post graduate Students may apply for Loans & Scholars

Undergraduate Continuing Education Loans for undergraduate students

Training Revolving Fund– This is a loan facility for public servants. The Board manages this fund on behalf of the Ministry of Public Service


All loan applications are submitted online. This makes the process of loan application more user – friendly.


All categories of university students –in both public and recognized private universities-are eligible to apply. These include government sponsored students [students admitted into public universities by the Joint Admissions Board] and self- sponsored students.
