‘Game of Thrones’ has been voted the number one TV series most likely to get bums on sofas.
The award-winning HBO show – which is based on George R R Martin’s hit novels – made the likes of Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke household names and has now been hailed the most bingeable boxset, beating shows like ‘Breaking Bad’ and ‘Downton Abbey’.
The poll of 2,000 adults found 44 percent now prefer to watch TV on demand and one in five follows more TV series than they did five years ago.
Steve Mitchell, head of TV product management at Samsung UK, said: “There has been a radical change in how people watch TV and their favorite programmes.
“Whether through boxsets or streaming, we all have an opportunity to watch whatever content we want at a time that’s convenient.”
