The Federal Bureau of Investigation is stuck between a stone and a hard place: they want to hire top notch hackers who can combat cyber crime but they are having a hard time finding coders who haven’t used marijuana within the last three years. According to FBI’s recruitment policy, if you have used weed in the last 3 years, you are ineligible to work for the bureau.

The Wall Street Journal reports that FBI Director James Comey told attendees at an annual conference that the FBI might have to change its attitude towards marijuana

“I have to hire a great work force to compete with those cyber criminals and some of those kids want to smoke weed on the way to the interview,” Comey said
