An England international soccer star gets his teammates to test him for his mathematics degree on the matchday coach.
Glen Johnson enlists the help of his fellow Liverpool FC players to ensure he is clued up for his Open University course, which he spends two hours a day studying for every day after training.
He told Liverpool’s official club magazine: “I’ve always liked maths. So I thought, ‘Why not?’
“I’m not setting any major targets, putting myself under loads of pressure to complete everything within a certain time.
“An Open University degree is quite flexible. There are different paths you can take with various options to reach the same end.
“As long as I keep enjoying it, I’ll keep doing it.”
