Diamond Platnumz Reveals His Insecurities On Social Media

Tanzanian Bongo star Diaond Platnumz recently let the world know just what he thought of his wife Zari.

In a recent interview on Tanzanian radio, Platnumz shared deep regret for his recent posts on social media. According to an interview shared on Youtube, King of Bongo Flava Diamond went on to Instagram to share his thoughts on a picture that made its rounds on the internet.

The “Number One” crooner went on to caption the image very harshly, alluding that Zari may have cheated on him with the man in the picture. The post, now deleted from the famed star’s Instagram account had many fans confused. The caption read, ““Ndiomaana wakati mwingine naonaga bora tu nile na kusepa…. maana hawathaminikagi wala kuaminika hawa,” said the singer, which when roughly translated, means, “the reason why sometimes i prefer being a player than a committed loyal man” according to Olisa.TV. It became apparent that the 27-year-old star had not thought through his actions, reacting in haste and anger, painting his wife as unfaithful and untrustworthy.

In response to the controversy, Diamond’s wife Zari shared the full details of the image citing when, where and who took the picture in question. Though the post by Zari served Diamond a slice of humble pie, many speculate their relationship may be going through a rough patch. Though the lovely couple is previously known to be public with their acts of affection, the duo prove that just like any other relationship,  there have ups and downs which are better resolved behind closed doors. With Diamond working on his new perfume line “Chibu” and record label Wasafi Records while Zari continues to run her businesses, it seems that one lesson anyone in a relationship can learn from this is that social media is not the right platform to work out personal matters.
