NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 21 – Homa Bay County will host an investor conference next week as it seeks to attract investments into the devolved unit.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Themed \u2018Unlocking the Bay of Endless Potential\u2019, the conference is the second Homa Bay Investment Conference (HOBIIC) that seeks to showcase investment opportunities, encourage strategic partnerships, and promote wealth creation in a sustainable environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe believe it will help open up opportunities for the county, by attracting investors to harness its diverse opportunities,\u201d DTB Group CEO and Managing Director Nasim Devji said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Devji noted that the county\u2019s efforts align with DTB\u2019s aspirations to fund income generation and employment opportunities by supporting businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are especially excited about the county\u2019s financial literacy programme for its SMEs as well as the sustainability efforts in its blue economy, to ensure responsible fishing practices that protect its ecosystem. This aligns with DTB\u2019s responsible banking and sustainability efforts,\u201d Devji added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The function, which will run from February 27th<\/sup> to 29th<\/sup>, saw the lender sponsor the event to the tune of Sh3 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
