We have in place a robust\u00a0strategy that enables us to prudently deploy our capital and resources across the region\u00a0to ensure superior returns from\u00a0our investments,&#8221; KCB Group Chairman Andrew W. Kairu said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525\">The announcement comes after the group\u2019s profit jumped 20 percent to Sh40.8 billion on higher funded and non-funded incomes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525\">It will pay the dividend on or about May 26, 2023.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525\">&#8220;We are bullish about 2023 and are gearing up to maximize on all the opportunities that\u00a0are available in our various markets. We have continued to embed sustainable practices\u00a0in all our business operations and strategy,&#8221; Kairu added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525\">&#8220;The business is well aligned to drive green\u00a0finance and accelerate our net zero ambitions while also supporting our citizenship\u00a0agenda\u00a0to\u00a0deliver\u00a0meaningful\u00a0change\u00a0in\u00a0our communities.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525\">During the shareholders meeting, the board also approved the appointment of Anuja Pandit and Joseph Kinyua as directors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525\">&#8220;We have maintained a steady growth in all our core\u00a0indicators\u00a0which\u00a0has\u00a0culminated\u00a0to\u00a0an\u00a0impressive\u00a0performance\u00a0both\u00a0in\u00a0balance\u00a0sheet\u00a0and\u00a0in\u00a0profitability.\u00a0This\u00a0was\u00a0made\u00a0possible\u00a0by\u00a0strong\u00a0revenue\u00a0momentum\u00a0across\u00a0the\u00a0corporate and retail businesses,&#8221; KCB Group CEO Paul Russo said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NAIROBI, Kenya, May 26 &#8211; KCB Group will pay shareholders Sh6.4 billion in the full year ending December last year.
