Kungu Muigai, to be the Chairman of the Board of the Kenya Cultural Centre Council, for a period of two (2) years, with effect from the 20 th January, 2023,\u201d read the court statement.<\/p>\n<p>In his Petition the petitioner challenged the validity of Mungai appointment in the position stating that his appointment contravenes Section3 of the Kenya Cultural Centre Act on the council mandate to handle appointments.<\/p>\n<p>He argued that Muigai\u2019s appointment to the position was done by the then Youth Sports and Culture Cabinet Secretary and was not subjected to public participation process.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA declaration that the 1 st Respondent action of appointing the Capt.
