KQ to access more Chinese cities in a new deal with China Southern Airlines   

NAIROBI, Kenya, April 27 – Kenya Airways (KQ) will now access more Chinese cities after the airline signed an interline agreement with China Southern Airlines.

It will expand the two carriers networks via Nairobi, Guangzhou, and Shanghai with a single ticket and one baggage policy.

In the deal, KQ customers will be able to access flights operated by the Chinese airlines on domestic routes such as Shanghai, Chongqing, Changsha, Chengdu, Dalian, Fuzhou, Hefei, and Hangzhou.

Others are Nanchang, Kunming, Guiyang, Ningbo, Nanjing, Nanning, Shenyang, Shantou, Sanya, Qingdao, Jinan, and Tianjin, among others.

International destinations operated by China Southern will include Bangkok, Hanoi, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Penang, Seoul, Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney, Auckland and Melbourne.

China Southern passengers will also access KQ networks, including Dar es Salaam, Entebbe, Kigali, Kinshasa, Bujumbura, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Douala, Mauritius, et cetera.

Flights are open for booking on the China Southern and KQ websites as well as through travel agents and online travel agents (OTAs).

This comes after the return of international travel to and from China.
