NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 16 – The Geothermal Development Company’s (GDC) managing director and chief executive officer (CEO), Jared Othieno, has been sent on a terminal leave.
Othieno has been replaced by Paul Ngugi, who is currently serving as Drilling & Infrastructure General Manager on an interim basis.
He leaves the firm before his three-year term lapses next month.
Our numerous efforts to reach GDC, however, proved futile.
Othieno joined GDC on April 19, 2020, taking over from Johnson Ole Nchoe, whose four-year term ended.
Ngugi boasts over 25 years of experience in geothermal business development.
