Nairobi, Kenya October 25 -Pesapal Monday launched a smart POS machine that is set to improve the in-store experience for customers and help merchants efficiently accept payments and manage their inventory.
Pesapal Sabi Smart POS will enable merchants to improve their business workflow by integrating everyday tools with payment processing. Functionalities such as accounting, reporting and analytics, inventory management, and generating email receipts will be done on the POS terminal.
The growth of payment technologies has resulted in a number of payment form factors that have transformed the way consumers pay.

The counter-top, smart terminal runs on the Android Operating System (OS) and accepts VISA, mVISA, Mastercard and MPESA payments. It combines the functional flair of a mobile device and the latest payment technology into one single tool, making it extremely easy to use.
Pesapal Technical Director Fred Mwangima said the Pesapal Sabi smart POS terminal capabilities go far beyond payment processing.
