“At KEMSA, we have streamlined our supply chain model that allows us to guarantee rapid deliveries to the farthest corner of Kirinyaga County for the benefit of more than 635,000 county residents,” said Beatrice King’ori, KEMSA sales, and marketing officer.
While officiating the flag-off ceremony, Governor Anne Waiguru said that the partnership was one that would uplift the quality of healthcare in the county.
“This donation is a strategic effort to uplift the quality of healthcare provision. We will continue to invest heavily in the development of purpose-built health infrastructure,” Waiguru said.
She also assured that the partnership would be the beginning of further developments in the healthcare industry in the county.
“We will transform the health care sector by building new medical facilities, upgrade the existing ones, and address the welfare of health workers,” Waiguru said.

KEMSA assured that the donation would not be a one-time endeavor, but it would continue to improve the quality of health care in the county.
