Naivas partnership with Jumia to enable online shopping

NAIROBI, Kenya, Sept 6 – Naivas has inked a partnership with the e-commerce platform Jumia that will enable consumers to access and order a wide range of products online.

The partnership will apply to Naivas Food Market at Prestige Plaza along Ngong road, before rolling out to other outlets nationwide.

Consumers along Ngong Road, Community Area, Hurlingham, Mbagathi, Kileleshwa, and Lavington areas will now be able to order on Jumia Food for a wide range of products.

Willy Kimani, the firm’s Chief Commercial Officer (COO) said the move is aimed at providing a mobile experience that minimizes customer’s trips to the stores.

“The development is an important step towards realizing Naivas’ mission and especially with the changing environment in the retail sector as shoppers now want to make fewer trips to the stores and our aim is to serve Kenyans at every possible opportunity,” he said.

He assured that the firm will provide a seamless shopping experience and that all items ordered will be quickly delivered to consumers.

“This partnership allows our consumers to save time and money since most of their daily household needs are available at the click of a button. This allows them to focus on other things that really matter to them,” he added.
