Akoin launches in Kenya with promise for alternative continent wide currency

NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 9 – A recently unveiled cryptocurrency created by famous singer and philanthropist, Akon, has started trading as a global crypto exchange with the currently now set aside as the primary cyrptosurrency in a $6 billion futuristic city project being set up in Senegal.

Akoin is already being used as a means of payment in Kenya.

According to Akon it will bring power back to the currency and the country. This currency is expected to be used as an alternative all over Africa.

It would be the stable currency for the futuristic project Akon has devised. The launch of this currency is good news because the digital assets became hot favourites during the pandemic. The situation is different and digital assets are now preferred over cash.

Pandemic has made more people join the crypto world because of the benefits. People traded and invested during this period through various platforms.

The well-organized trading tool known as the Bitcoin revolution has been in greater use too. Platforms like these helped gain trades more than even before.

People are already using digital transactions and it has become easier for them to turn towards Akoin.

Whole world is excited about this cryptocurrency that has already started trading against BTC and USDT on the Bittrex Global crypto exchange. Many evolutions have led to this launch. Akoin is accepted worldwide and awareness is created among other countries through several campaigns. People in other countries are buying and selling these virtual currencies to achieve millions by investing a few bucks. Kenyans should not be left behind.

The Akoin cryptocurrency has also launched in Mwale Medical and Technology City (MMTC). MMTC is a metropolis project that is a medical and technology complex located in Kakamega, Kenya.

Julius Mwale, the primary investor of MMTC declared that Akoin will be used by the complex at the end of 2021. All the workers would be paid in Akoin. Initial transactions have even started in MMTC and there will be no fees for the people who are already using Akoin.

This tech city is basically a futuristic project that has been announced by the singer in western Senegal. It is a kind of sustainable project. The work on this project will begin in the first quarter of 2021 and will be done by American company KE International.

The best part of the city is that it will have a special tax zone, which means the imports are reduced in such a country. This would attract more investors and workers and the country will benefit.

However, the zone will work exclusively with the Akoin cryptocurrency.This futuristic city will be the hub of technologies. During the pilot stage of the city, the residents will be able to pay or get paid through Akoin cryptocurrency.

This currency can instantly be converted to any other form of exchange as well. This currency will have services such as debit card. Many people find transaction fees a bit expensive because most of the people do not make enough money.

However, the Akoin ecosystem will be able to save lots of money for them. Here transaction fees will not be charged and that is what has made people excited about it.

The launch of this cryptocurrency is the first step in building this futuristic city. There are many more milestones to be reached. A proper city with its currency will start and the release of Akoin as a cryptocurrency will bring many benefits.

It is a kind of a utility token, which is powering atomic swaps between cryptocurrencies, fiat and mobile phone credits. They have become a popular store in many countries that are eager to develop.
