The broker, who met the required parameters of the program was awarded with a brand-new car, VW Polo.
The annual awards covered all the key intermediated distribution channels including brokers, independent agents, tied agents, banks as well as alternative channels.

The robust 2019 incentive program has seen the Insurance Business award over 500 intermediaries with over 1,200 rewards in the year.

“We are really proud of all winners and their commitment to supporting our business. The top winners had initially been awarded overseas and local trips, however, due to the COVID – 19 and the traveling challenges posed by the pandemic, the winners were awarded the cash equivalent,” explained David Kuria, Managing Director, UAP Insurance Kenya.

Arthur Oginga, the East Africa UAP Old Mutual Group Chief Executive Officer, said the loyalty program is designed to not only recognize the top intermediaries but to also take leadership in the market to attract and retain top-performing intermediaries.

The Group offers tailor-made solutions for clients which provides a unique selling proposition for intermediaries when talking to customers. The celebration of 175 years in Africa and 100 in East Africa is also a commitment by UAP Old Mutual to continue serving customers and walking with them in their financial journeys.

“The 2020 loyalty program launched at the beginning of the year is progressing well despite the business challenges brought about by the pandemic. Intermediaries continue to be awarded and we are looking forward to announcing the annual winners which will see a grand winner walk away with a brand-new car in 2021” concluded David Kuria, Managing Director, UAP Insurance Kenya.
