Qatar Airways Unveils Special 48-Hour Sale for Travel up to September 2021

NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 8 – Qatar Airways is inviting travellers to rediscover the world with a special 48 hour sale. The World’s Best Airline is offering fare discounts of up to 30 percent from 8 October at 00:01 on until 9 October at 23:59 (Doha time) for travel up to 30 September 2021.

Qatar Airways became the largest international carrier during the last six months by fulfilling its mission of taking people home while travel was restricted. The airline now operates over 650 flights to more than 90 destinations worldwide and, as countries around the world reopen for travel, its special sale gives travellers the opportunity to take the journey of a lifetime as they look ahead to 2021 and the opportunities it will bring.

This special sale follows Qatar Airways’ giveaway of 21,000 complimentary tickets for teachers worldwide to thank them for their vital work in educating young people during the challenges brought by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In turn, Qatar Airways is now thanking travellers for continuing to dream of the journeys ahead.

To make their journey with Qatar Airways even more special, customers booking travel via the company’s website during this special sale period can also enjoy up to 20 per cent off online purchases for any pre-paid baggage, access to the Oryx and Al Mourjan lounges at Hamad International Airport (HIA) and Al Maha Meet and Assist services. To further honour their loyalty, Qatar Airways Privilege Club members will earn double Qmiles on tickets booked on 8 and 9 October 2020. Passengers will also receive free wi-fi onboard until 2 January 2021.

Additionally, Qatar Airways is extending its commitment to offering passengers incredibly generous flexible booking options, now available for all tickets booked before 31 December 2020. If passengers need to change their travel plans, they can hold their tickets for two years, benefit from unlimited date changes, or exchange their ticket for a future travel voucher with 10% extra value. Passengers that have had their travel plans impacted by factors outside their control can change their original destination anywhere to within the same continental region for Qatar Airways Privilege Club members or within the same country or a 500-mile radius in the same continental region for non-members. They can also swap their ticket for Qmiles or refund their ticket with no fees applied.

When travelling with Qatar Airways, passengers can expect the highest standards of safety throughout their journey. The carrier has stringently implemented the most advanced safety and hygiene measures on board its aircraft and at HIA.Qatar Airways’ onboard safety measures include the provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for cabin crew and a complimentary protective kit and disposable face shields for passengers. Business Class passengers on aircraft equipped with Qsuite can enjoy the enhanced privacy this award-winning business seat provides, including sliding privacy partitions.
