Liquid Telecom appoints Clayton Naidoo as Group Chief Business Officer

NAIROBI, Kenya, Aug 31-Liquid Telecom has appointed Clayton Naidoo as Group Chief Business Officer effective Wednesday.

Naidoo will be responsible for driving growth, innovation and strategy in the enterprise market across the Group’s holdings.

According to the group’s statement, Naidoo has more than 14 years of experience in the industry.

“Clayton’s vast experience in the global ICT sector and his commitment to strong industry partnerships, paired with his ability to embrace innovation and take calculated risks makes him an ideal asset as the Group continues to grow,” said Ahmad Mokhles, Group Chief Operating Officer,” Liquid Telecom.

Naidoo was the general manager at CISCO where he was responsible for executing a region-wide vision and strategy, accelerating growth across all business segments and developing strategic relationships across the entire ecosystem before his new appointment.

The Group Chief Business Officer is a new position within Liquid Telecom, and forms part of the Group’s wider digital transformation strategy.

In this role, Naidoo is also tasked with establishing Liquid Telecom’s enterprise business offering of managed solutions to large companies.

The company considers this as a vital role as it migrates to a digitally enhanced operating model that will deliver higher levels of customer experience for long-term business sustainability.
