NAIROBI, Kenya, May 21 – M-zawadi a leading loyalty programs provider in Kenya has launched the first fully digitized loyalty reward scheme featuring a fully automated cash back platform for brands.
The revamped loyalty program also offers manufacturer’s coupons through which firms can directly give digital coupons to their clients and engage them directly.
Through the innovation unveiled on Thursday, M-zawadi’s loyalty program promises to revolutionize how brands will do promotions, engage and reward clients is finally here.
The fully automated coupon and cash back technologies, the first to become operational in the county, are seen as timely given the adverse effects the coronavirus pandemic has had on the economy; disrupting value chains, reducing customer spend and affecting businesses’ bottom line.
“We wanted to change how promotions and brands create incentives, reward clients and engage them, these technologies are not only going to reduce the turnaround time for running promotions, but will significantly reduce the cost of promotions.” said M-zawadi CEO Naftal Nyabuto, during an online launch of the product.
“These innovations will help brands create incentives that can significantly reduce client dollar spend and transform the route to market for manufacturers in entirety,” he explained.
Nyabuto noted the two innovations will change how brands interact and reward clients during the pandemic and post-pandemic.
The cash back provision deploys the use of mobile moneys services, giving brands a platform to directly return money back to the client’s pocket. Clients can then utilize the rewards for shopping or purchasing their products anywhere in the country.
The manufacturer’s coupon service will help eliminate the need for paper coupons, middlemen and other major promotional costs, and provide client data tracking by brands.
