Koroga Festival goes to Naivasha

NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 21 – Capital Group Limited has signed a deal with Naivasha Love Festival (NLF) to hold Koroga Festival in Naivasha, Nakuru County.

The event will be held at Hell’s Gate Naivasha, making it the first time the by-monthly musical festival is being held outside of Nairobi.

Capital Group’s Commercial Director Farida Idris says the event will include an array of activities among them the Koroga Lovefest, cycling, lake clean up among others.

NLF’s chairman Kimani Gitau says NLF has secured several sponsors including Naivas Supermarkets and Kenya Airways to support the initiative.

“We working with the Nakuru county government to ensure we host an that people will enjoy and bring families together,” said Gitau.

He added that the event, which will be held at a cost of Sh25 million, is targeting more than 10, 000 tourists from all over the world and over 5, 000 local tourists.

Koroga Festival is a celebration of African music, food, art and fashion brought to you in the form of a concert and open boutique market.

Aptly named after the Swahili word meaning “mix,” The Koroga Festival is a great reflection of Kenya’s brilliant and diverse local talent, whilst also attracting leading artists from all over the world through music, fashion, food and arts.
