NAIROBI, Kenya, Jun 11- Cabinet Secretary Treasury Henry Rotich will present the 2019/2020 budget beginning July to the country on Thursday at 3pm.
Education, Energy, Infrastructure and Information, Communication and Technology, Public Administration and International Relations, Governance, Justice, Law, and Order and National Security are some of the sectors predicted to receive large pieces of the Sh3.02 trillion cake.
However, the Kenya Revenue Authority is behind target on revenue collection despite the new measures that were introduced in the 2018/2019 financial year.
This will now force the government to introduce more levies that will help bridge the deficit.
