Christopher Minter joins Britam board

NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 21 – Britam Holdings has appointed Christopher Minter to the board of directors effective December 20, 2018.

Minter is the head Principal Investments and Acquisitions at Swiss Re and has over 25 years’ experience in Investment management, Private Equity, Corporate Development and Finance.

He holds a Masters degree in Law and History from the University of Cambridge and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Meanwhile, Umeme Limited has also announced its latest appointment.

The firm has appointed Andrew Oyie as acting Chief Finance Officer effective December 1, 2018.

This follows the exit of the Marie Nassiwa Martins whose three-year contract ended in November 30, 2018.

Oyie has been the Finance Manager at Umeme since 2016 and previously worked at Ernst and Young.
