Nairobi, Kenya, Nov 8 – Safaricom has announced new Home Fibre packages that will combine mobile voice, mobile data, SMS and Home Fibre in one package.

Home Fibre Plus package will allow customers to enjoy mobile data connectivity, calls and SMS wherever they are.

Safaricom has also partnered with Jubilee Insurance to provide Home Fibre customers with a preferential home insurance cover.

According to Jubilee Insurance head of General Insurance, Winnie Njau, customers will not be required to compile an inventory of their household goods to benefit from the policy.

Safaricom Chief Customer Officer, Sylvia Mulinge, said the new packages reflect the changing needs of customers who want to access related services within minimum touch points.

“Hence, our latest all-in-one offering seeks to cater to their communication demands both in and out of the home,” said Mulinge.

Safaricom Home fibre customers can access the new packages by dialing *400#.

Safaricom’s Home Fibre service has passed more than 213,000 homes across the country and is available in Nairobi, Nakuru, Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret, Thika, Bungoma, Kitale, Nyeri and Nanyuki among other towns.
