NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 6 – Kenya Airways Chief Executive Sebastian Mikosz says the national carrier will monitor the performance of the recently launched Nairobi – New York flights and adjust accordingly depending on the demand.
Speaking to Capital in the Morning on Monday, Mikosz said the airline needs to balance bragging rights with pragmatism to stay afloat and ensure routes are profitable in the long run.
Mikosz also revealed that its subsidiary, Jambojet, plans to fly to Mogadishu and Bujumbura, explaining why the local carrier is not a low-cost airline.
