Capital Group Commercial Director Farida Idris presents the cheque to APA

NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 28 – Capital Group Limited has sponsored the Association of Practitioners in Advertising APA Awards 2018 which will take place on 30 November 2018 at the University of Nairobi’s Manu Chandaria Auditorium.

Speaking while making a Sh4 million contribution, the Group’s Commercial Director Farida Idris says the Awards will seek to reward creatives who have done exceptionally good in the industry.

“We want to use this opportunity to appreciate every creative in the industry. Its time to make them shine,” she said.  She also recognized and thanked other sponsors who had come out to support the event. They include WPP ScanGroup, Coca-Cola and Red House Media among others.

Last year, Capital Group’s subsidiary Capital Digital Media was awarded as one of the country’s leading advertising agencies by APA.
Capital Digital Media has revolutionized online video content making it both informative and educational for the online audience.

Data provided by APA show that in the last ten years, Kenya has registered substantial growth in the advertising industry and through such events, innovation and creativity is predominantly promoted.
