Qatar Airways launches its first global sales promotion of 2018

Business Class all-inclusive return fares start at $1239 to Guangzhou, $1659 to London and $1929 to Washington DC, with further discounts offered on recently-launched destinations/FILE

NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 10 – Qatar Airways has announced its first global sales campaign of the year, the popular‘Global Travel Boutique,’offering passengers amazing discounts across all of the award-winning airline’s cabin classes.

The Global Travel Boutique is back with an exclusive selection of savings and offers to memorable places around the world in Economy, Business Class and First Class.

Passengers are invited to plan their next trip with Qatar Airways and take advantage of 35%discounts on fares, as well as the airline’s special ‘Companion Offer’ in Business and First Class. Families with children can also enjoy special discounts with a kid’s special offer.

Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Ehab Amin, said: “We are delighted to usher in 2018 with our Global Travel Boutique promotion, our first sales campaign of the year. This promotion follows the success of last year’s Global Travel Boutique campaign, offering our passengers tremendous discounts on fares across all cabin classes. This promotion is a wonderful way to start to 2018, and we invite all of our passengers to take advantage of the exciting discounts and prizes on offer.”

Passengers will also have the chance to earn double Q miles on all bookings made from 9-16 January 2018,with travel validity from 9 January until 10 December 2018.

Passengers can now book flights to the most popular destinations on Qatar Airways’ extensive global network, with Economy Class all-inclusive fares starting at $499 to Delhi, $599 to Guangzhou, $589 to Beijing, $739 to Kuala Lumpur and $889 to New York.

Business Class all-inclusive return fares start at $1239 to Guangzhou, $1659 to London and $1929 to Washington DC, with further discounts offered on recently-launched destinations.

The promotion will also provide Qatar Airways passengers up to 15 per cent discounts on Al Maha Services and Lounge access, up to 10 per cent discount on RCC car rentals and a special discount of 20 per cent for up to four rides with Qatar Airways’ luxury chauffeur service partner, Blacklane.

Qatar Airways will continue expanding its global network throughout 2018 by adding flights to many more exciting destinations including Pattaya, Thailand; Penang, Malaysia and Canberra, Australia, among others.

The national carrier of the State of Qataris one of the fastest-growing airlines operating one of the youngest fleets in the world and has a modern fleet of more than 200 aircraft flying to business and leisure destinations across six continents.

The award-winning airline received a number of accolades in 2017, including ‘Airline of the Year’ by the prestigious 2017 Skytrax World Airline Awards, which was held at the Paris Air Show. This is the fourth time that Qatar Airways has been given this global recognition. Qatar’s national carrier also won a raft of other major awards at the ceremony, including ‘Best Airline in the Middle East,’ ‘World’s Best Business Class’ and ‘World’s Best First Class Airline Lounge.’
