Four Cabinet Secretaries tasked with delivering Kenyatta’s big 4 agenda

The four have been named in President Kenyatta’s latest cabinet posts assignments which have included a new post of Chief Administrative Secretary.

NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 26 – Mwangi Kiunjuri, James Macharia, Sicily Kariuki and Adan Mohamed will be in charge of delivering President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Big Four Action Plan.

Kiunjuri will head the Agriculture docket while Sicily Kariuki will monitor the health docket.

The four have been named in President Kenyatta’s latest cabinet posts assignments which have included a new post of Chief Administrative Secretary.

Both Macharia and Adan have been retained inh their dockets with Macharia manning the Transport and Housing ministry while Mohamed will head the Industry, Trade and Cooperatives ministry.

The big four circle on providing Kenya with food security, affordable housing, manufacturing and inexpensive healthcare in Kenyatta’s second and final term in office.

Kenyatta has repeatedly said that the four will be used to transform Kenya economically and leave a lasting legacy after his tenure.

“During the next five years, I will dedicate the energy, time and resources of my administration to the big four,” Kenyatta said, placing emphasis on those who have been picked to deliver his dream.

While creating the Chief Administrative Secretary docket, Kenyatta says the position will broadly be responsible for helping the Cabinet Secretary to better coordinate the running of the affairs of the respective ministries.
