Westgate Mall, British Airways announce Sh800,000 Christmas promotion

Ann Njogu, Marketing Manager of Westgate Shopping Mall with BA Kenya Commercial Manager Kevin Leung

NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 17 – British Airways and Westgate Shopping Mall have announced a Christmas promotion aimed at rewarding the Mall’s lucky customers with two business class return tickets – from Nairobi to London.

Speaking while officially finalizing the deal with Westgate Shopping Mall, British Airways Commercial Manager for Kenya, Kevin Leung said the Christmas promotion would provide great value for the Mall’s customers during this festive season.

“With this promotion we hope to benefit the Mall’s customers by rewarding them with a chance to fly on a return ticket with British Airways. Christmas is a time of gifting and leisure travel. This promotion will, therefore, go a long way in helping the shoppers get more value for their money” said Leung.

The promotion which runs from 1st December 2017 to 31st January 2018 will require participants to shop for a chance of winning. Initially, shoppers will need to spend at least Ksh 1,000 worth of shopping for a chance of winning instant prizes, through a Lucky Dip.

This will automatically entitle them to enter a grand draw from where the first of five lucky customers will win the two British Airways sponsored tickets.

“Once again, as we approach Christmas and New Year holidays, we have come up with something to enrich the experience of our customers. This promotion will further enhance the thrills this Christmas will generate in the coming eight weeks,” said Ann Njogu, Marketing Manager of Westgate Shopping Mall.

The Christmas promotion is mainly targeted at Shoppers, Family, Friends and International Visitors.

According to Westgate, other activities during the season include Christmas Tree decoration competition, Christmas crafts and gift sale and the Christmas Kids party scheduled for 16th December 2017.

The exquisite BIG sale will be the other big attraction where various tenants and vendors will have a chance of exhibiting their wares until 31st December 2017.
