KQ’s wins Best Airline Award at 2017 Digital Inclusion Awards

NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 15 – Kenya Airways has been named the Best Airline under the Aviation Sector Category at the recently held Digital Inclusion Awards, 2017 held at the InterContinental Hotel Nairobi.

The Digital Inclusion Awards recognizes and awards institutions from various sectors in Kenya that embrace technology in their day-to-day activities enhancing a better consumer experience.

“Our focus is on the Customer, if we meet them at their point of consumption with the content they need, in the right format and at the right time of consumption then we will have met their need,” said Kenya Airways Head of Marketing and Customer Experience Jacquie Muhati.

The airline has in the recent past enhanced its e-customer interaction platforms across its business mainly touching marketing, sales and service operations functions.

Earlier this month, Kenya Airways partnered with Pesalink to provide payment solutions for customers booking online or on their mobile App.

“The journey of digitisation is ongoing with current focus on innovation, we are continuously looking at our offering and ensuring we are meeting our customer needs in the dynamic environment,” Kenya Airways Head of Global Sales Marco van Vliet.

Other companies nominated in the aviation category included; Fly 540, Air Kenya, Jambo Jet and Safari link Aviation.
