NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 20 – Capital Group’s subsidiary Capital Digital Media has been awarded as one of the country’s leading advertising agencies.
The company was awarded by APA Awards, in partnership with Loeries, who are Africa’s premier initiative, which rewards creative excellence in Africa and the Middle East.
“The 2017 APA Awards recognized and rewarded originality, innovation and creativity in various categories, cutting across the industry promoting inclusion by embracing both well-renowned organizations all through to young start-ups,” APA said in a statement.
“During the awards gala, 58 awards across 19 categories were won. The Kenyan advertising and brand communication industry was rewarded with 2grand prix, 5 golds, 3 craft golds, 11 silvers, 24 bronzes and 7 craft certificates.”
Capital Digital Media has revolutionized online video content making it both informative and educational for the online audience.
Others who have been recognized include Ogilvy & Mather Africa, Scanad and Express DDB among others.
Data provided by APA show that in the last ten years, Kenya has registered substantial growth in the advertising industry and through such events, innovation and creativity is predominantly promoted.
