Safaricom crosses the Sh1 Trillion market valuation

The historical milestone is a first for a company listed on the NSE/MOSES MUOKI

, NAIROBI, Kenya, July 29 – Safaricom share price closed the week at an all time high of Sh25 pushing the mobile telco company past the Sh1 Trillion mark in market capitalization.

Coming just days before the General Election, investors have expressed confidence in Safaricom, which is now worth more than half of the capital at the Nairobi Securities Exchange.

The historical milestone is a first for a company listed on the NSE.
